AcuComm’s Daily Full Access Project – UK WtE Plant

Development of an RDF-fuelled CHP plant

Back in October, it was revealed that Brockwell Energy had secured equity funding which will go towards its development of the Earls Gate Energy Centre (EGEC) in Grangemouth.

The combined heat and power (CHP) facility will replace the current plant already on the Earls Gate site and will have the capacity to treat 215,000 tonnes of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) each year. Up to 21.6 MW of electricity and 33.3 MWth of heat will be generated.
