Toyo Engineering will soon start work on the construction of Equis Bioenergy’s new 50 MW biomass power plant in Toyama.

It will be fuelled by wood pellets, with all power generated being sold to Hokuriku Electric Power Company. Around 75,000 homes will be supplied with power as a result, saving over 47,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions each year.
