New Investment Review: Waste Processing

In March 2021, AcuComm added seven new waste processing projects with a cumulative value of US$96 million to its WasteView Contract Finder database. These facilities, located in Brazil, , Ecuador, Germany, Spain and the United States, will process over 900,000 tonnes of waste per annum. Over the 12-month period (April 2020 to March 2021),  AcuComm covered a total of 116 new waste processing projects, valued at over US$3.1 billion.

In March 2021, AcuComm added five new landfill projects with a cumulative value of US$55 million to its WasteView Contract Finder database. These projects, located in Brazil, Spain, Ukraine and the United States, will provide 140,000 tonnes of new landfill capacity by 2024. New Investment Review: Waste-to-Energy

These projects, located in Poland and Thailand, are due to start operating in 2025 or later when they will bring 62 MW of new energy capacity online. New Investment Review: AD/Biogas

In March 2021, AcuComm reported on 22 new AD/Biogas projects with a cumulative estimated value of US$253 million. These projects will generate an estimated total of 58 MW (or 3 MW on average at each plant) and consume almost 1.4 million tonnes of feedstock, of which 40% will be animal-derived (manure/slurry). This new activity was reported in Australia, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Serbia, the UK and the United States.

Over the 12-month period (April 2020 to March 2021),  AcuComm reported a total of 199 new AD/Biogas projects with a total estimated investment value of US$3.8 billion.
